Photo-first request
Tell us about the glass and we'll pass it to a local pro
A foyer window gone milky between the panes, a cracked half-round, a patio door that drags: describe it and add photos. Markham Windows is a free referral service and doesn't sell or fit glass. We find an independent local professional suited to the job and forward your request; that pro contacts you to quote.
What helps a pro quote accurately
- The whole window. From inside, showing the frame, the grilles and the shape (half-round, arch, transom), with a rough size. Say if it's a second-storey foyer unit.
- One frame corner, close up. Where glass meets frame, and any maker's stamp on the spacer bar.
- Heritage district or condo. Tell us whether the house sits in a heritage district, a condo suite or a townhouse in a condo corporation (“not sure” is fine), and whether you plan to apply for the City's heritage grant.
How your information is used
- Markham Windows uses what you send to choose one independent pro for this job (a glass shop, door installer or heritage-window trade) and passes it to them to quote. It is never sold.
- Offers need the separate, unticked box. See the privacy policy and terms.
Where we connect you with pros
All of Markham. For Richmond Hill, Stouffville and other edge addresses, we confirm a pro works there before the request goes out.

Will anyone actually call me back after I ask for a quote?
The pro we match you with contacts you directly to ask a question or arrange a visit. We can't set their calendar, but we track requests. If yours goes quiet, write to us with your name and address, and we'll chase it or pass it on.
Can a photo or phone quote go up once the pro sees the window?
It can. Photos settle what kind of job it is; the measure settles the price. A soft frame or awkward second-storey access can change the scope, so ask for any change in writing first. How it works explains more.
